Requirements
- Accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Internship experience or six or more months of related work experience
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment and related systems
- Experience with a high level CAD system
- Minimum of 6 months of experience including internship
Day to day
- Designs functional reliable and cost effective heavy duty vehicle components for military vehicles.
- Performs engineering analysis and redesign work to support development of components for existing and new vehicles.
- Prepares layouts drawings specifications and bills of material while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
