Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience designing BESS power electronics or thermally critical enclosure systems
- Strong understanding of thermal management and cooling system design
- Experience supporting products through testing and field deployment
- Knowledge of NFPA 855 or similar battery storage standards
- Experience reviewing vendor designs and technical documentation

Day to day
- Design mechanical systems for containerized Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with a strong focus on performance and reliability
- Develop and validate thermal management and cooling solutions for battery enclosures to maintain safe operating conditions
- Support mechanical integration equipment layouts service access and safety requirements while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Evaluate vendor equipment provide technical design reviews and assist with commissioning troubleshooting and continuous product improvements
