Who you are
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering and design
- Proficiency in computer-aided design particularly AutoCAD products and MatchCAD Prime
- Experience in producing technical reports P&ID’s calculations and engineering drawings
- Preferred experience in piped systems engineering and familiarity with BIM and CDM
- Ability to obtain UK security clearance

What the job involves
- Contribute to the research and development of mechanical design packages for diverse clients
- Assist in proposal writing and bidding activities when required
- Produce specifications and outline designs
- Create and review technical drawings plans and specifications using computer software
- Develop test and evaluate theoretical designs
- Ensure products are reliable and perform consistently in specified operating environments
- Use research analytical conceptual and planning skills for mathematical modelling and computer-aided design
- Support site construction and commissioning work as needed
