Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in water treatment wastewater and industrial effluent treatment
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering ideally with a master's degree
- Proficient in designing mechanical instrumentation control and automation (MICA) systems
- Demonstrated ability in developing and delivering technical MICA design solutions in industrial and municipal settings
- Strong technical and report-writing skills across various project stages
- Deep understanding of water treatment and wastewater principles
- Ability to conduct hydraulic energy and mechanical calculations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues

Day to day
- Collaborate with the Lead Process Engineer and project team to provide mechanical design expertise
- Conduct concept development preliminary and detailed MICA design for water and wastewater treatment plants
- Design MICA aspects for water and wastewater delivery and collection networks
- Conduct research and development of new equipment and solutions
- Apply relevant software tools for project analysis and outcomes
- Ensure adherence to design standards and streamline engineering tasks
