Remote Mechanical Engineer Job in London, UK Ayesa - UK and Ireland

Who you are

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in water treatment wastewater and industrial effluent treatment
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering ideally with a master's degree
• Proficient in designing mechanical instrumentation control and automation (MICA) systems
• Demonstrated ability in developing and delivering technical MICA design solutions in industrial and municipal settings
• Strong technical and report-writing skills across various project stages
• Deep understanding of water treatment and wastewater principles
• Ability to conduct hydraulic energy and mechanical calculations
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues

What the job involves

• Collaborate with the Lead Process Engineer and project team to provide mechanical design expertise
• Conduct concept development preliminary and detailed MICA design for water and wastewater treatment plants
• Design MICA aspects for water and wastewater delivery and collection networks
• Conduct research and development of new equipment and solutions
• Apply relevant software tools for project analysis and outcomes
• Ensure adherence to design standards and streamline engineering tasks
