Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer in Michigan or ability to obtain registration
- 6+ years mechanical engineering experience
- Strong HVAC design experience
- Strong plumbing design experience
- Fire protection performance specifications knowledge
- Expert Revit user
- Ability to manage and lead support staff
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop budgets and proposals

Day to day
- Oversee mechanical engineering services on building projects from start to finish.
- Research design options and develop practical HVAC and plumbing solutions.
- Prepare and review construction documents specifications shop drawings RFIs and budgets.
- Lead support staff maintain client relationships and support business development.
