Requirements

  • Relevant Mechanical Engineering degree or HNC/HND with relevant experience
  • Significant project management experience ideally in a COMAH regulated industry
  • Chartered or working towards Chartership with a relevant Institution
  • Extensive experience leading technical engineering projects and stakeholder groups
  • Strong people management and contractor management skills
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and intelligent client approach
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Mechanical engineering design and installation experience in hazardous area process plant environment
  • Working knowledge of API EEMUA ASME ATEX BS PSLG COMAH CDM and related legislation
  • Full preferably clean driving licence and willingness to travel

Day to day

  • Plan and manage Mechanical and mixed-trade minor new works projects across OPA facilities
  • Lead inspection and management of static equipment including pipelines tanks vessels and associated assets
  • Develop scopes budgets forecasts and programmes while coordinating contractors technical authorities and internal stakeholders
