Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace aerodynamics mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited college or university
- At least 4 years of mechanical systems engineering experience within aviation aerospace or defense
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and integrating test equipment electrical power air conditioning cabin pressure hydraulics and mechanical aircraft systems
- Experience reading creating and editing drawings in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and work instructions in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience in prototyping and validating installations
- Ability to use Microsoft 365 including Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must qualify for Secret Clearance

Day to day
- Support DoD aircraft platforms by designing, executing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems and modifications.
- Develop technical solutions for maintenance and operational problems while assisting with aircraft rigging, hydraulics, fuel, pressurization, and fire detection systems.
- Perform engineering investigations, prepare analyses and reports, and present findings to management while ensuring repairs meet naval aviation maintenance policies.
