Who you are

• Understand the media and its requirements with excellent news sense and communication skills
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational and prioritising skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a good telephone manner and ability to empathise
• Experience in producing reports on news coverage
• Ability to manage workload and handle multiple and changing stories.

What the job involves

• Support the team to build a high media profile for the Society
• Follow daily news agendas compiling coverage to capture breaking news and produce stories for Alzheimer's Society
• Report on daily news and recruit and develop the Society’s Storyteller base
• Promote the Society in national consumer and trade media
• Compile and produce reports on news coverage.
