Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or commensurate experience)
3 - 5 years experience in UCaaS and CCaaS solutions
Experience in communication and collaboration solutions, preferably with Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, or CCaaS Solutions
Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing policies
Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Calling features and capabilities, such as Operator Connect, Direct Routing, Calling Plan, Audio Conferencing, and Teams Devices
Knowledge of communication and collaboration technologies and protocols, such as SIP, VoIP, PSTN, SBC, CCaaS, and QoS
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Microsoft Licensing certifications are strongly preferred.
What the job involves
The Microsoft Sales Engineer designs and implements cloud-based communication solutions using Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, SIP Solutions, and CCaaS Solutions.
They work with clients, partners, and internal teams to understand the business requirements, challenges, and goals of the communication scenarios, and provide the best cloud solutions.
They analyze and evaluate current communication infrastructure and processes and identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
The engineer develops and tests cloud solutions using all available platforms, ensuring the quality, performance, security, and reliability of the solutions.
They provide guidance and support for the adoption and change management of Cloud Voice Solutions and stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices.
The role involves producing Statements of Work (SOWs) for calling solutions, detailing the scope, timeline, and budget for contact center implementations.
