Remote Mid Level Engineer - Machine Learning (NLP Focus) Job in UK Mitratech

Who you are

• Solid understanding of setting up ML experiments, communicating results, managing expectations
• Experience in verifying and ensuring data quality through cleaning processes
• Proven experience in training custom models with available data and conducting rapid experimentation for proof-of-concept projects
• Hands-on knowledge of major ML frameworks, preferably PyTorch
• Familiarity with MLOps practices including model deployment and ML as a service
• Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and third-party services

What the job involves

• Develop machine learning models to meet business objectives, including performance tracking metrics
• Ensure data quality through verification and cleaning processes
• Explore and visualize data to understand it thoroughly and identify distribution differences impacting model performance
• Research and utilize datasets for model training
• Define and implement validation strategies for model evaluation
• Train models and fine-tune hyperparameters to optimize performance
• Deploy models to production environments for seamless integration
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in machine learning, especially NLP
