Who you are

• Strong software engineering skills with quick coding ability and code quality standards adherence
• Comfortable with linear algebra and statistics
• Experienced in applying both traditional ML techniques and deep learning to real-world problems
• Able to reason from first principles instead of only pattern matching
• Interested in learning about machine learning, biochemistry, and drug development

What the job involves

• Drive speed and accuracy improvements in our ML platform by modifying 2D and 3D graph neural network architectures and implementing them in PyTorch
• Keep up with deep learning research on graph neural nets and graph generative models, prototyping ideas from the literature
• Dive deep into molecular datasets to create optimal train, validation, and test sets
• Develop creative 2D and 3D molecular featurizations inspired by physics and chemistry to enhance data usage
• Work closely with software engineers and medicinal chemists to make our ML platform adaptive to various use cases
