Who you are

• Universal EPA 608 Certification
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering
• Strong background in packaged HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment repair and maintenance
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders
• Ability to perform on call duties and overtime as required

What the job involves

• Operates, inspects, and maintains all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems to obtain efficient operating results and extend life expectancy. Ensures equipment is maintained in an energy-efficient, safe manner, minimizing downtime and anticipating necessary repairs. Performs inspections and repairs to property interiors and exteriors, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting.
• Performs ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility systems and equipment. Maintains, operates, and repairs all HVAC systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interiors/exteriors, and related grounds. Conducts facility inspections, reports on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations, responds effectively to emergencies, and prepares summary reports.
• Studies and learns proper use of various equipment, including building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and other building-related equipment. Complies with safety procedures, good housekeeping, and safety maintenance. Recognizes and proposes methods to eliminate safety hazards, maintains compliance with ordinances, and supports after-hours building-related activities. Attends training seminars and performs operational tasks expected of the role.
