Universal EPA 608 Certification
Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering
Strong background in packaged HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment repair and maintenance
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders
Ability to perform on call duties and overtime as required
Desirables

What the job involves
Operates, inspects, and maintains all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems to obtain efficient operating results and extend life expectancy. Ensures equipment is maintained in an energy-efficient, safe manner, minimizing downtime and anticipating necessary repairs. Performs inspections and repairs to property interiors and exteriors, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting.
Performs ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility systems and equipment. Maintains, operates, and repairs all HVAC systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interiors/exteriors, and related grounds. Conducts facility inspections, reports on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations, responds effectively to emergencies, and prepares summary reports.
Studies and learns proper use of various equipment, including building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and other building-related equipment. Complies with safety procedures, good housekeeping, and safety maintenance. Recognizes and proposes methods to eliminate safety hazards, maintains compliance with ordinances, and supports after-hours building-related activities. Attends training seminars and performs operational tasks expected of the role.
