Requirements
- Qualified to a minimum of I.A.E.A. or ATA (VDA) standard with current/recent experience as automotive engineer/body shop estimator
- Able to assess value and negotiate repair costs; provide vehicle valuations; negotiate total loss settlements; detailed understanding of salvage categories and claims management
- Experience with vehicle estimating systems such as Audatex and Glassmatix is essential
- AQP qualification preferred

Day to day
- To produce high quality reports
- Assess, value and negotiate repair costs; provide vehicle valuations; negotiate total loss settlements
- Support other members of the team as and when the need dictates
- Resolve customer complaints consistently and efficiently
- Ensure instruction to reporting timescales remains within SLA’s
- Adapt to the constantly changing requirements of the department and perform additional tasks as required
