Remote Motor Engineer Job in UK Davies

Who you are

• Qualified to a minimum of I.A.E.A. or ATA (VDA) standard with current/recent experience as automotive engineer/body shop estimator
• Able to assess value and negotiate repair costs; provide vehicle valuations; negotiate total loss settlements; detailed understanding of salvage categories and claims management
• Experience with vehicle estimating systems such as Audatex and Glassmatix is essential
• AQP qualification preferred

What the job involves

• To produce high quality reports
• Assess, value and negotiate repair costs; provide vehicle valuations; negotiate total loss settlements
• Support other members of the team as and when the need dictates
• Resolve customer complaints consistently and efficiently
• Ensure instruction to reporting timescales remains within SLA’s
• Adapt to the constantly changing requirements of the department and perform additional tasks as required
