- Strong technical knowledge of networks network security and their configuration
- Knowledge of Juniper EX LAN switching products and SRX firewall solutions
- Understanding of 7 layer OSI model especially layers 1 through 4
- Cisco or Juniper Certifications and knowledge of wireless and firewalls desirable

What the job involves
- Taking ownership of complex incidents and progressing them through to resolution
- Liaising with 3rd party engineers to troubleshoot issues
- Participating in small to medium sized project work and investigating service improvements
- Involvement in live network monitoring and catalogue change requests
