Who you are

  • Hold a technical leadership role related to Logs, Metrics, APM, Synthetic Monitoring or Profiling
  • Experience working as an architect or technical lead on large projects involving 100+ engineers over multiple years
  • Autonomous work style and familiarity with Elastic Stack
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Desirables

  • Inheriting medium-to-large scale projects successfully
  • Developing APM and Logging products at scale
  • Significant contributions to open source projects


What the job involves

  • Lead the evolution of the architecture and roadmap of the Elastic Observability solution
  • Provide technical leadership to define the technical strategy in collaboration with the engineering team
  • Work on developing features that enhance user experience for Observability solution use cases
  • Collaborate with technical leads from Solutions and Platform teams to align priorities and roadmaps
  • Participate in recruiting efforts by interviewing and hiring tech leads for the team
