Requirements
- 5+ years designing, analyzing and prototyping free space optical communication systems
- 5+ years performing system modelling using commercial software tools such as MATLAB, Ansys, STK
- 3+ years leading FSO system development and production
- Experience with Agile development framework and practices
- Proven management of multi-disciplinary teams over diverse geographical locations
- Ability to lead proposal efforts and participate in ongoing business development
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics or related technical discipline
- US Citizenship required
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Nice to have
- Master's or PhD degree in a related technical discipline
- Military Satellite Communications architecture experience
- Experience with Government systems and service acquisition
- Active TS/SCI clearance
Day to day
- Craft, implement, document, test, troubleshoot and deploy Free Space Optic communications solutions
- Diagnose and resolve sophisticated problems, provide critical technical support, and maintain engineering skills
- Lead a spectrum of internal development, capital, and contract programs across a variety of related technology
- Engage with multiple customer groups to drive execution and support the growth of the business through technology and proposal development
