Who you are

• Fluency in Spanish (both written and spoken) is essential
• Proven experience in leading Oracle Retail Xstore implementations
• Deep understanding of the Xstore Point of Service (POS) platform
• Strong knowledge of the Oracle Retail Suite and integration with other retail technologies
• Experience in solutions architecture and optimisation of retail systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Flexibility to travel within Spain for client meetings or project needs

What the job involves

• Play a key role in designing and delivering solutions for a complex retail environment
• Collaborate with both technical and business teams for successful implementation and optimisation of the Xstore suite
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Oracle Retail Xstore implementations, upgrades, and customisations
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Oracle Retail Xstore solutions
• Provide leadership and mentorship to development teams ensuring best practices in coding, integration, and system performance
• Perform technical assessments, system configuration, and integration design with third-party applications
• Conduct architecture reviews to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with the client’s long-term strategy
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure minimal disruption to business operations
• Lead project planning and provide detailed documentation
• Participate in meetings with client teams across Spain to ensure alignment and clarity in project technical aspects
