Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish (both written and spoken) is essential
- Proven experience in leading Oracle Retail Xstore implementations
- Deep understanding of the Xstore Point of Service (POS) platform
- Strong knowledge of the Oracle Retail Suite and integration with other retail technologies
- Experience in solutions architecture and optimisation of retail systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Flexibility to travel within Spain for client meetings or project needs
Day to day
- Play a key role in designing and delivering solutions for a complex retail environment
- Collaborate with both technical and business teams for successful implementation and optimisation of the Xstore suite
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Oracle Retail Xstore implementations, upgrades, and customisations
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Oracle Retail Xstore solutions
- Provide leadership and mentorship to development teams ensuring best practices in coding, integration, and system performance
- Perform technical assessments, system configuration, and integration design with third-party applications
- Conduct architecture reviews to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with the client’s long-term strategy
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure minimal disruption to business operations
- Lead project planning and provide detailed documentation
- Participate in meetings with client teams across Spain to ensure alignment and clarity in project technical aspects
