Remote Packaging Engineer Job in Tempe, AZ Optum

• Requires 2+ years of experience with cold chain packaging and URAC testing requirements
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively
• Ability to travel up to 30% for new implementations and audits.

What the job involves

• Work with third-party vendors to develop new packaging concepts based on operational needs
• Work closely with site operations to introduce new packaging and make changes to existing formats
• Develop Transportation and Production Control System requirements to support new pack outs and track progress
• Monitor deployments and communicate changes to all internal and external partners
• Train sites on the appropriate packaging procedures
• Perform cost-benefit analyses and attend essential meetings concerning cold chain management.
