About The Role

Mass Culture is a paid media agency and growth partner for mission-driven scale-up brands. We're looking for a freelance Paid Social Specialist to own and execute paid social campaigns that drive measurable growth. You'll work directly on client accounts across key social platforms, managing campaigns end-to-end with precision and accountability.

Qualifications

4–6 years of hands-on paid social campaign management experience.Demonstrated experience running campaigns on Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and/or LinkedIn.Strong understanding of audience targeting, creative strategy, and funnel-based campaign structures.Comfortable working with performance data and translating it into clear recommendations.Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and communicate clearly with internal teams.Current knowledge of platform algorithm changes, creative best practices, and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

Build and launch paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok (Web and GMV max), Reddit, Snap, Axon, Pinterest and other relevant platforms, aligned with client goals and budget parameters.Develop and execute audience targeting strategies across platforms, including prospecting and retargeting.Structure campaigns by funnel stage, optimizing for awareness, consideration, and conversion objectives.Manage large-scale budgets with a focus on cost-efficiency and ROAS.Use platform-native and third-party analytics tools to identify performance gaps and opportunities, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations.Ensure accurate pixel and event tracking, and consistent reporting across accounts.Collaborate with internal strategists and creative teams to align on briefs, test hypotheses, and deliver campaign updates as needed.
