Remote Paralegal Job in United States Cornerstone Home Lending

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification preferred with at least 5 years of experience as a paralegal at a law firm or with a Mortgage Lender or Financial Institution
• Ability to understand and interpret basic contractual provisions
• Demonstrated ability in successful problem resolution and the ability to define problems collect data and draw conclusions
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Well-developed project management skills with proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines

What the job involves

• Maintain corporate documentation and records including scheduling board meetings drafting agendas and corporate resolutions
• Assist with the formation and dissolution of company subsidiaries
• Prepare confidentiality agreements and review legal issues on customer proposed confidentiality agreements
• Coordinate with attorneys to review nonstandard changes to standard documents in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Monitor and track claims and litigation matters including costs and expenses
