Requirements
- Experience handling RTA claims
- Experience handling EL/PL claims including housing claims
- Background in insurer or TPA environment
- Demonstrable self-motivation and initiative
- Ability to work independently within a defined structure
- Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and managers
- Strong communication skills
Day to day
- Manage a varied caseload of litigated defendant claims from issue through to trial, including personal injury, large loss, property damage, credit hire, LVI and fraud matters.
- Assess coverage liability and quantum with care and precision while investigating the merits of third-party claims.
- Negotiate confidently by telephone and correspondence with third parties insurers and solicitors to secure the best outcomes for clients.
- Accurately value general and special damages maintain full data integrity and support the litigation team through supervision delegation and client liaison.
