Our Customer, a leading global law firm is working with a major bank in reviewing documents related to the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and other regulatory changes, including IBOR, LIBOR, and MiFID II.
Job Description: Locum Lawyers and ParalegalsPosition: Locum Lawyers and ParalegalsLocation: RemoteDuration: 3 months Roles Available:5 Locum Lawyers5 Paralegals
Key Responsibilities:For Locum Lawyers:Review and assess finance or commercial contracts.Provide legal insights and recommendations on contract modifications.Ensure compliance with DORA and other relevant regulations.Collaborate with the law firm and the bank's internal teams to address legal concerns.
For Paralegals:Conduct due diligence and contract reviews.Support non-contentious paralegal tasks related to DORA and other regulatory requirements.Assist in the preparation and organization of legal documents.Collaborate with lawyers to ensure accurate and timely review of documents.
Qualifications:Locum Lawyers:Proven experience in finance or commercial contract review.Strong understanding of regulatory changes related to DORA, IBOR, LIBOR, and MiFID II.Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Paralegals:Experience in due diligence and contract review.Background in non-contentious paralegal work or current/former trainee status.Familiarity with DORA and other regulatory requirements is a plus.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
