  • Experienced in compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements related to payments
  • Understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape governing payments in the online gaming and gambling industry or similar sectors
  • Demonstrated success in setting up and managing payment systems
  • Preferably experienced within the online gaming and gambling industry or related sectors, with a proven track record of driving payment strategy and operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

What the job involves

  • Lead payment operations and shape payment landscape
  • Formulate and implement the overall payment strategy for 888 Emerging
  • Evaluate and refine payment processes for efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Act as the main relationship holder with all Payment Service Providers (PSPs)
  • Oversee integration of new PSPs and select Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) tailored to specific markets
  • Take responsibility for the payment user experience
  • Collaborate closely with platform development teams to ensure seamless payment processes
  • Work with the MLRO to maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Stay updated on changes in payment regulations and implement necessary adjustments
  • Optimize payment rates through strategic negotiations with PSPs
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality
  • Ensure robust monitoring systems to detect and prevent fraud
  • Enhance fraud detection mechanisms to safeguard company and customer interests
  • Serve as the point of contact for payment issues for Senior Management, Customer Services, and Key Account Managers
  • Provide effective solutions to payment-related queries and challenges
