Remote Payments Regional Growth & Development Manager Job in UK Airbnb

Who you are

• BS/BA degree in business or technical field
• 10+ years experience in consulting, strategy, and payments
• Experience in payments industry required, ideally from a network or merchant perspective
• Experience in consulting on market level strategies incorporating market research, business and payments data, and company goals
• Understanding of payments landscape in APAC and/or EMEA, able to build knowledge in new markets
• Critical thinking, communication, presentation, storytelling, interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead strategic and tactical execution
• Program management skills, able to handle multiple concurrent programs
• Experience in software product development processes and methodologies
• Knowledge of collaborative project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana)

What the job involves

• Focus on global markets, primarily EMEA and APAC, providing insights into payment market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activities
• Help define and implement payments regional strategy, identifying growth and customer experience opportunities
• Act as a market SME and liaison between the Airbnb business and Airbnb Payments.
