Who you are

• You’re qualified in UK payroll or working towards a CIPP or other Payroll qualification
• You have a good understanding of the full payroll cycle including pensions
• You’re comfortable managing your own workload and deadlines without constant supervision
• You’re a team player who enjoys working collaboratively and cross functionally
• You have knowledge of and adherence to AML and CTF policies
• You’re an advanced user of MS Excel (e.g. v-lookups pivot tables concatenation etc.) but also the G Suite of products (Sona uses these primarily)

What the job involves

• Payroll completion for specific clients each payroll period including input entry processing report generation and checking
• Completion of RTI submissions
• Creation of BACs files and submission to BACs software for approval
• Completion of Pension reconciliations and uploads
• Resolving customer queries via Zendesk
• Conducting AML cyclical checks using Veriphy
