Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field from accredited institution
  • 4+ years payroll, HR experience in relevant country
  • Strong knowledge of local payroll, HR regulations, policies
  • Prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal, written skills to connect with clients, stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills, explain complex issues understandably
  • Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Strong proficiency in English
  • Experience managing technology, external payroll providers an advantage
  • Experience with new payroll implementations on industry-recognized payroll solution preferred
  • Experience in multiple country jurisdictions an advantage
  • Experience with multiple payroll technologies an advantage



What the job involves

  • Evaluate and select software for payroll, incorporating Deel tech requirements
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution in your region and other trained countries
  • Prepare, reconcile internal payroll reports, ensuring local tax compliance
  • Own critical local payroll and HR processes, including involuntary deductions, employee onboarding/offboarding
  • Schedule payroll expenses collections, reconcile collections to expenses
  • Assess and improve growth processes, ensuring compliance
  • Stay informed of local regulatory, policy changes, communicate key changes across teams
  • Provide expertise on local payroll and HR matters, work cross-functionally
  • Answer complex payroll and HR questions from employees and clients in your region
