Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Performance Engineering Performance Testing or Application Performance Optimization
- Expert-level experience designing and executing enterprise-scale performance testing strategies
- Deep expertise with Google Cloud Platform including cloud observability monitoring and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of distributed cloud-native architectures microservices REST APIs and containerized applications
- Experience analyzing application performance across databases application servers APIs and cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner Enterprise JMeter or Gatling
- Strong knowledge of performance monitoring and observability platforms
- Experience interpreting large performance datasets and applying statistical analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams in fast-paced high-availability environments

Day to day
- Define and lead performance engineering strategy for cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Analyze and improve scalability and responsiveness across microservices APIs databases and high-volume clinical workflows.
- Design execute and oversee load stress endurance and scalability testing while driving automation observability and CI/CD integration.
- Collaborate closely with engineering architecture DevOps SRE database and infrastructure teams to resolve bottlenecks and guide performance improvements.
- Lead and mentor a small performance engineering team and present clear recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders.
