Who you are

• 12+ years in software engineering
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Graduate degree preferred
• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
• Strong presentation skills, experience with large audiences
• Expertise in DevOps platforms like GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, GitLab, and Atlassian
• Experience with cloud-native applications, microservices architecture, and platforms such as aPaaS, fPaaS, CaaS, or K8s
• Use of Infrastructure-as-Code with tools like Terraform, AWS CDK/Cloud Formation, Chef, Puppet, Red Hat Ansible, Pulumi, or Crossplane
• Enabling developer self-service through portals like Backstage, OpsLevel, Cortex, and Port
• Application of AI in platforms
• Use of observability and monitoring to enhance performance and security of software applications

What the job involves

• Write research and engage with clients, leveraging extensive knowledge of software and platform engineering technologies and deployment best practices
• Advise clients on architecting, implementing, and operating DevOps platforms, cloud-native applications, and developer self-service capabilities
• Participate in industry events, respond to press inquiries, and support sales through client consultations
