Who you are

  • Proven experience in designing and developing business intelligence/data analytics solutions
  • Extensive experience with Power BI development including Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
  • Proficiency in DAX language for data modelling and calculations
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel Word PowerPoint)
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills
  • Creative accurate and delivery-focused mindset
  • Ability to think systemically and understand the business holistically

What the job involves

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into BI solutions
  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for effective tracking and monitoring
  • Transform and analyse data from SQL databases using robust SQL queries
  • Utilize Microsoft Power BI to transform data build models and create interactive dashboards and visual reports
  • Work closely with the IT team to address data integrity issues and establish new data requirements
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to answer specific business questions and support trials/investigations
  • Administer the Power BI Service platform to ensure seamless operation
  • Provide data analytics support to the Strategy and Analytics director
  • Manage and prioritize requests for Power BI services from various business units
  • Deliver high-quality Power BI services to meet business needs
