Who you are
- Educated to a HNC or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Possessing three phase electrical installation or maintenance knowledge
- Understanding of switch panel and power distribution
- Knowledgeable of industrial communication protocols such as: Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP
- Knowledgeable of programming of PLC control systems (power control, generator control, SCADA or process control)
What the job involves
- Providing first-class service for Eaton installed base products to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Responsible for commissioning, preventive maintenance, and product repairs
- Fault diagnoses on UPS systems
- Understanding on-line and line-interactive UPS systems
- Carrying out preventative maintenance, commissioning, and repair on all types of UPS systems
- Setting up and configuring remote monitoring software
- Communicating with key stakeholders on a technical level
- Applying anti-static policies and procedures and the ECN process to all repairs
