Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years experience
- Ability to register as an Engineer in Training in California
- ETAP or SKM software experience is an asset
- Ability to run small to medium studies and projects under direct PE supervision
- Proven written and oral communication of technical topics
- Proficient in reading power system wiring diagrams and DC elementary drawings
- Ability to work safely and follow electrical safety procedures
- Strong computer skills including Windows Microsoft Office and internet research
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds

Day to day
- Provide applied electrical engineering expertise for power systems studies and power quality analysis
- Perform assessments including protection device coordination short-circuit calculations and arc-flash hazard analysis
- Prepare reports proposals and electrical design improvements for safe dependable cost-effective systems
- Meet customers on-site provide technical support and quality control and work with codes standards and engineering estimates
