Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance Agency
  • Thorough understanding of Property & Casualty insurance coverages underwriting and rating concepts
  • High School Graduate
  • College degree preferred
  • State Property & Casualty insurance license or willingness to obtain one within agreed timeframe
  • Industry designation such as ARM CIC or CPCU preferred
  • Strong written oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Sagitta/WorkSmart preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal instruction and high accuracy
  • Ability to set priorities and manage workflow
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Day to day

  • Manage the service, sales, and retention of assigned client accounts with strong accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Handle new and renewal marketing, client questions, policy checks, and coverage reviews in a fast-paced insurance environment.
  • Coordinate with carriers and underwriters, follow up on quotes and policies, and support claims reporting and specialty market needs.
