Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's preferred
- Professional Engineer license preferred
- 12+ years of experience in substation automation, SCADA, and industrial control systems
- Experience with substations, data centers, grid interconnections, and utility automation systems
- Knowledge of IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, ICCP, OT cybersecurity, and NERC CIP
Day to day
- Serve as the technical authority for substation automation and control systems supporting large-scale electrical infrastructure and hyperscale data center campuses.
- Guide the design, architecture, and technical oversight of HV/MV substation automation, SCADA, communications, HMI, alarm management, and sequence of operations.
- Develop standards for digital substations and validate load shedding, remedial action schemes, automated restoration strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
