Who you are

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years experience in software industry experience related to technology
  • 5+ years of experience delivering solutions and support to enterprise customers
  • 3+ years of experience managing and leading highly technical teams in a fast-paced environment
  • 1+ years experience with cloud computing technologies
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check which needs to be passed upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
  • Knowledge of modern engineering practices such as Agile and Lean
  • Passion and focus on delivering the right customer experience
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop global teams
  • Ability to innovate and drive change
  • Ability to build a deep relationship with internal teams and customers
  • Communication skills and work with executives, including the ability to hold CxO and BDM level discussions, effective interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills

What the job involves

  • Lead a high-performing team to support top Azure customers and resolve critical technical issues in a 24x7x365 environment
  • Create a culture of customer obsession, advocating for customers' issues and resolving them innovatively
  • Collaborate closely with Azure engineering teams to support customers and improve platform gaps based on insights
  • Develop standards and best practices to optimize support capabilities and drive their adoption across Azure support delivery teams
  • Build a team of highly skilled engineers, providing ongoing feedback and driving the development of both technical and soft skills
