Requirements
- Strong commercial awareness of Data Managed Services solutions
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience in monitoring platform performance and availability (SLO, SLI)
- Experience with Google Data Products (BigQuery, Dataflow, etc.)
- Experience with cloud provisioning tools, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience in data warehousing using BigQuery and dbt/Dataform
- Experience with CI/CD technologies (Git, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build)
- Google cloud certifications: Cloud Architect or Data Engineer or ML Professional
Nice to have
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with clients
- Ability to resolve complex issues
Day to day
- Own the overall tooling strategy and drive technology best practices in Managed Services
- Support sales team with technical pre-sales enablement including creation of pitch decks and architectural documents
- Advise consulting teams on best practices for building data platforms
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex issues with customer platforms
- Mentor and coach junior technical staff, defining learning paths for engineering teams
