Who you are

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with experience working on design systems
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating and maintaining design systems for large-scale products
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
• Excellent understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for user-centered design
• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

What the job involves

• Facilitate the design of Yahoo’s design system, including visual style, UI components, and interaction patterns
• Establish and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards
• Collaborate with product designers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and implementation of the design system across all products
