Remote Principal Software Engineer Job in Maryland, United States Microsoft

Who you are

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including but not limited to C C++ C# Java JavaScript or Python OR equivalent experience
• 6+ years of professional experience building running and maintaining highly resilient distributed cloud services at scale
• Ability to meet Microsoft customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
• 4+ years of professional experience in OOP server-side development building large-scale distributed systems
• 8+ years of professional experience in designing building and operating large scale distributed systems that can sustain rapid growth Effective communication collaboration and leadership skills
• Independent capable of making decisions in an ambiguous environment Familiarity with any modern continuous delivery/deployment systems
• Familiarity with Application (HTTP HTTPS) transport & security (TCP/UDP TLS) protocols
