Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience
Proficient development and unit testing in C#/C++
Development experience and understanding of database systems like SQL server / CosmosDB / PostgreSQL is preferred
Experience with design and implementation of enterprise-scale services
Verbal, written, and cross-team collaboration skills are essential
Working knowledge of Distributed Systems and Cloud Technologies
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment
Experience driving a complex multi-year infrastructure project

You will build appealing developer experiences, solve complex algorithmic problems, forge real-time troubleshooting tools, streamline monitoring systems, evolve our metrics for large scale performance optimizations. You will implement features for Office 365 applications and ensure they meet rigorous quality standards.
You will partner with stakeholders to determine user requirements. You will lead efforts and discussions for the architecture of products and solutions, create proposals, test hypotheses, and mentor others. You will optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance and maintainability. You will lead experimentation to determine the effectiveness of changes and decide on next steps. You will monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions. You will share best practices, seek new knowledge, adapt to new trends, and collaborate on the design of services.
