Remote Principal Technical Marketing Engineer Job in UK Elastic

Who you are

• Extensive experience in search developer tools or cloud-related domains
• Ability to engage developers engineering and data science teams
• Proven track record of creating compelling content across various formats such as blog posts, presentations, and videos
• Software development expertise in Python, Curl, Javascript, React, and shell scripting with a focus on automating demo environments and workflows
• Familiarity with deploying and operating workloads in cloud environments such as AWS Google Cloud or Azure
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-experts
• Comfortable working in a multi-functional role and collaborating effectively with a highly distributed and diverse team
• Self-directed and self-motivated working style with strong work ethic
• Some travel is required

Desirables

• Developer experience using Elasticsearch
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
• Knowledge of vector search/vector database and search related ML
• Familiarity with RAG implementation pattern and generative AI landscape
• Experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer with cloud technologies
• Hands-on experience implementing Elastic solutions in customer environments

• Become an expert in Elastic's technical capabilities including supporting RAG workloads for generative AI applications
• Set up the infrastructure for product demos and tutorials
