Who you are

• 10+ years experience in writing, content design, information technology (IT), or coding/programming OR equivalent experience
• 3+ years project leadership/management experience
• Business level fluency to read, write and speak English
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
• 8+ years experience in a related technical domain
• Familiarity with some safety space (for example online safety, cyber security or privacy)
• Experience designing training curriculums

What the job involves

• Develop a strategy for communicating AI Safety concepts and best practices to a broad range of disciplines
• Creating content across a range of media that explains these ideas in practical, human (or societal) centered way
• Work with a range of teams to understand the issues involved in AI safety and the methodologies used to manage them
• Help other teams involved in AI Safety communicate their work in a way that is practical and easily understood by their intended audience
• Embody Microsoft's Culture and Values
