Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- 6 years of combined experience in healthcare privacy or compliance
- At least 4 years in information privacy and security
- Certification in a compliance-related field or ability to obtain it within 12 months
- Experience with sensitive and confidential information
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and provide accurate guidance
- Knowledge of HIPAA and other privacy and security laws
- Ability to collaborate effectively independently and in teams
- Experience with Epic or other clinical applications

Day to day
- Serve as a subject matter expert on information privacy and security policies and regulations across healthcare academic and research missions
- Provide privacy impact risk assessments facility reviews and guidance on HIPAA related compliance and ePHI controls
- Support leadership with privacy strategy project implementation training outreach policy improvements and risk mitigation planning
