Who you are
Demonstrate ability to learn technical processes and solve problems
Previous experience in technical and manual tasks in an operational, process-based industry
Ability to prioritize workload and take ownership of site issues
Effective team worker comfortable using a wide range of IT systems
Ability to carry out manual handling duties, work at heights, and deal with raw sewage
Required to work in confined spaces and pass strict medical criteria (BMI, vision, blood pressure, hearing, Spirometry tests)
Full valid driving licence with no more than 6 points
What the job involves
Safely undertake operational and maintenance activities for wastewater treatment works
Conduct daily routine manual and technical work tasks on site, including operations, instrument calibration, and basic maintenance checks
Manage and prioritize workload based on available resources
Maintain safe working environment by implementing Health and Safety procedures, managing contractors, and resolving hazards
Use process information to optimize site processes and improve efficiency in cost and energy generation
Drive process optimization to minimize operational costs and meet performance targets
