Requirements

  • Working knowledge of US regulations including FDA 21 CFR CPSC 16 CFR EPA TSCA VI and DOE 10 CFR
  • Knowledge of product certifications such as NSF ETL and similar standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to escalate issues and resolve conflicts
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to balance and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and PDFs
  • Reliable high-speed internet access and home office setup for remote work
  • Legal resident of an approved US state for remote work

Day to day

  • Review product documentation and technical submissions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Monitor emerging regulations and standards and recommend updates to internal requirements
  • Conduct risk assessments, lead audits, and support cross-functional teams on compliance verification and issue resolution
  • Develop and improve company-wide compliance policies processes and workflows
  • Mentor junior staff and serve as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders
