Remote Product Manager, OCS API Platform Job in United States Stripe

Who you are

• 5+ years of experience in a product role, ideally working on API-focused products
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Intuition for high-performing, ergonomic and long-lasting API design
• Strong API “taste” for a great developer experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to dig deep into data, think from first principles, and deliver the right results

Desirables

• Experience working on financial products
• Experience in a highly cross-functional role requiring advanced stakeholder management

• Design and scale the APIs used by hundreds of thousands of businesses
• Work with companies ranging from innovative startups to Fortune 500s
• Collaborate with engineering, design, legal, and other teams to shape product experiences
• Ensure platform is reliable and performant, including system reliability, API extensibility, and latency
• Partner with teams across Stripe to build on the Checkout API platform
• Use metrics to inform your point of view and measure success
