Requirements
- Journeyman Tool & Die background or formal training in tool & die technology
- 5+ years of progressive die design experience in high-speed stamping environments
- Expertise designing progressive stamping and deep draw dies with servo feed and coil handling
- Experience designing tooling for 15 to 300 ton presses
- Strong understanding of strip development and station sequencing
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks AutoCAD or equivalent
- Solid mechanical aptitude and GD&T knowledge
- Experience with ISO or quality management systems
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement background
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment

Day to day
- Design and optimize high-volume progressive stamping and deep draw dies for 15 to 300 ton presses
- Develop complete strip layouts with station progression forming strategy and tonnage calculations
- Collaborate closely with toolmakers quality and production teams to launch reliable high-speed tooling
