Who you are

  • More than several years of successful enterprise software sales experience.
  • Public sector sales experience in the UK & I market and/or European market.
  • Comfortable presenting to C-level executives, IT, and other lines of business leadership.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment.
  • Experience with a consumption sales model.
  • Deep curiosity about all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quotas in large enterprise deals.
  • Ability to understand Enterprise customer needs and build strong, trusted relationships at all levels.
  • Consistent track record of aligning multiple resources to meet customer objectives.
  • Clearance to work with government entities like MI5/MI6.

What the job involves

  • Develop strategic account plans and drive upsells and new products in UK, Ireland, and Northern European markets.
  • Identify risks and manage them effectively.
  • Build and leverage networks within GitHub, Microsoft, and customer organizations.
  • Advise customers on GitHub best practices and offer unique insights.
  • Present strategic ideas, handle objections, and drive deal momentum to close.
  • Work closely with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Microsoft teams for client strategy.
  • Help customers design internal business cases demonstrating GitHub’s value.
  • Provide forecasting and measure customer satisfaction by understanding behaviors.
