Who you are

• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance
• Minimum 5 years experience in software testing
• Healthcare sector experience preferred
• Experience with automated and manual testing tools
• Problem recognition and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, prioritization, and organization skills
• Teamwork and effective interaction with teams, stakeholders, and clients
• Judgment in escalating issues
• Experience in electronic health records or systems integration projects
• Experience in RESTful API, Web application testing using tools like Postman
• Experience with TestRail, Jmeter, Postman, RestAssured, Yogi Requirements, Jira, Confluence, MS Office
• Developing and maintaining Test and Evaluation documents, test cases, and test procedures across multiple testing types
• Experience with healthcare standards such as FHIR and HL7 is a plus

What the job involves

• The QA Testing Engineer will be part of an Agile software development team integral in performing testing and analyzing customer requests, gathering requirements and helping the team adhere to agile methodology and scrum ceremonies. Key tasks include identifying critical and repetitive test scenarios and automating them. The Engineer will oversee the execution and maintenance of automated tests, ensure bugs are triaged and resolved, document results, and work with teammates to identify root causes and ensure quality in production teams.
• The role involves understanding project and customer context, collaborating with teammates to deliver high quality software, developing continuous improvement strategies, and working closely with customers to ensure requirements are testable.
• Additionally, the Engineer will contribute to project functions by attending standups, planning meetings, and contributing to risk and hazard analysis, identifying issues, and working to resolve them. The Engineer needs to understand highly technical features and functionality of products to plan for testing and other QA activities.
