Who you are
Undergraduate degree in finance, maths, accounting, or real estate related fields or a combination of education and relevant experience, preferably in commercial real estate or real estate finance
4+ years of real estate investments or similar related financial or analytical experience.
Knowledge of real estate valuation methods and market analysis
Excellent cashflow modelling skills including debt financing
Experience solving complex problems through quantitative data analysis and modeling
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint and word skills
Excellent business writing skills
Takes initiative, follows through, and has pride of ownership of their work
Detail oriented, accurate and well organized
Able to manage multiple projects
Ability to present succinct investment recommendations
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Proactive, result-oriented, with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deadlines and an ability to multi-task and work independently

What the job involves
The Real Estate Acquisition Analyst will work closely with members of the asset management and accounting teams and will be responsible for shepherding real estate investment opportunities through all aspects of the investment process, including acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, and portfolio reporting.
You will support the investment team with financial analysis and assist with the preparation of investment memorandums.
The role involves conducting strategic research, asset allocation analysis, and maintaining oversight of market trends.
