Who you are

  • Strong technical/engineering and commercial awareness
  • 5 years’ of Design in led sales experience within harsh/technical environments
  • Strong IT literacy and experience of sales CRM’s
  • Highly motivated and proactive with a positive attitude and long-term mindset committed to results
  • Ability to work under own initiative and with a team with cross-functional co-operation
  • Open to innovation and constructive change
  • Comfortable with prospecting
  • Strong administrative skills organised meeting deadlines accurate reporting



What the job involves

  • Responsible for the attainment of annual and monthly performance targets in the defined region
  • Responsible for ensuring all accounts receive the appropriate level of support to maintain the existing level of sales and to grow sales
  • Execution of the sales strategies to grow/secure existing and new business
  • Prospecting in assigned region to identify new accounts and execute the strategy to penetrate the region
  • Manage projects, continually progressing by ensuring obstacles are overcome client requirements are met and business is secured
  • Prompt follow up of all quotations leads and other demand creation activities
  • Participation in sales meetings and exhibitions (local national and international)
  • Ensuring effective use of the company’s CRM system aligned to the company’s best practice
  • Effective call planning to maximise each call potential (Physical and Digital communication)
  • Create and effectively manage the sales pipeline adding new opportunities and meeting goals on the quality of the pipeline
  • Preparation of monthly performance report with timely submission accurate forecasting of new business secured new opportunities generated and objectives for the forthcoming month/quarter
