Remote Regulatory Advisor Job in UK Campden BRI

Who you are

• Graduate level qualification(s) in food science or related subjects
• Proven experience/knowledge of food law in a commercial, enforcement, or policy setting
• Well-developed communication skills in various directions
• Ability to manage projects with deadlines and multiple stakeholders
• Experience of customer service and client interaction
• Fluency in Spanish and English and ability to interpret food law in Spanish speaking countries
• Additional languages such as Portuguese and/or Italian advantageous

Desirables

• Portuguese language skill
• Italian language skill

What the job involves

• Maintain and extend awareness of current food legislation, related issues, and likely developments in food legislation in EU and Spanish & Portuguese or Italian speaking countries
• Answer questions from members, clients, and colleagues on the content, application, and interpretation of food legislation
• Develop and contribute to regulatory publications and training events
• Initiate new business and deliver contract services on time and within budget
• Contribute to the development and delivery of research projects
• Recommend and implement changes in services, products, and systems
